my guinea pig Sugar

I just recently got a guinea pig named Sugar. We rescued her from the Kona Humane society.
Her favorite snack is a salad with cucumber, carrots, watermelon and any other leafy vegetable that you can think of !! Her best friend Francine loves the same things. They each have their very own castle/house/igloo. Sugars is a light blue and Francince's castle is bright pink and covered with sparkles!!! They like to share castle and their each castle is too small to share so I bought them a humongous dark blue castle with sparkles!!! Sugar is brown and white with little black fur's. Francine is a big black and white guinea pig.Sugar(my guinea pig) instead on biting people she licks people!!

summer's finally here!!!!

Well summer is here and I am happy because my birthday is coming up!!! Another reason why I am happy for Summer is that my family and me an hang out and go to the beach, the movies and other family activities. Yesterday was fathers day and we went to go surfing in Kona at Pine Trees ( great surfing spot). I go surfing with my dad for like half an hour then we come in and of course I fall asleep on the beach and get fried ( I did put on sunscreen but not enough i guess)! If you have never been sun burned you do not want to . It hurts when you take a shower, bend the back of your legs ( you get the point).

My favorite books

I read a lot of books every day. today I read a 132 page book in like 45minutes to n hour.The name of that book was Number the Stars. It took place a long time ago.
One of my favorite books is Warriors by Erin Hunter.
Another one of my favorite books is Maximum Ride by James Patterson.
Some of my other favorites are Flush, Pretty Tough, Scat,Dragon Rider,The Sisterhood of the traveling pants, any books by Donna King, Ida B, Hoot, Dive ,Island.

Clue

For Christmas I got the board game Clue.My family plays Clue at least once per week and I never win. My mom always wins because she has been playing Clue since she was a kid. Finally ,today(Sunday,June7 2009) I won CLUE. The Person was Peacock with the rope in the Observatory( if you own Clue or have played it you know what I mean)!!! Clue is a really fun family game. My favorite players are Mustard, Green, and Scarlet.

Merrin's Profile

Since birth, Merrin has been exposed to herbal and nutritional supplements (you could catch her drinking cod liver oil straight form the bottle when she was 3!), homeopathy, whole foods and hydrotherapy. Now at age 10, she now instinctively and proactively takes control of her health.

Merrin is an avid horseback rider, loves to play and explore and really loves her school (especially reading).

The Merrin's blog and Ask Merrin section are designed to help other kids with health issues - from one kid to another.

Merrin and her younger sister, Pearl, will be doing some video pod-casting to help kids make healthier food choices and give them tools to help fight off colds.

Kahua ranch Windmills and Solar energy

When I was still in School we went on a field trip to Kahua Ranch. On one part of the tour they took us to their energy place where they have windmills and two types of solar panels.
