My Riding Lessons

I ride at the Waimea Equestrian Center. My teacher is really nice and trained in Germany!!! It is really cool going there because you learn so much. On my first lesson I learned more than I would have at any other riding place!!! I learned about balance, suppleness, contact and some/most of the aids( seat aids, leg aids etc.)!! She is the best teacher in the whole world. Me and my friend both go to the same school and we get out of school on Wednesday (Day before Thanksgiving) at around 1:15 and right after that we are going straight to her house/riding stables. When we get there we will work hard then get a lesson a couple of her horses. I hope I get to ride Crystal(she is my favorite)! Here is a video of me riding her horse Rocky. See ya guys later,

Colonels nu Chick

At the place where I used to ride my riding teachers horse had a baby and her name was Colonels nu Chick(I think that was her name). She is now around two years old and her training has started. There was a Green Cow horse Competition and she competed in it. One of my best friends cousins is a professional horse trainer so he trained her. His name is La'akea Vicar. I watched him and CC (Colonels nu Chick) show and they did great. Every one was surprised that CC did not freak out when La'akeas hat flew off. Anyway here is a video of them I took. I edited it on iMovie because I didn't do a good job filming so thank you editing!!

No More Fly's

Hey, me and my mom were looking around and we found a website that has all these ingrediants and directions to make your own homemade fly spray for your horses. It says some smell good and some make their coat all shiny. It looks like they work very well so check out the site.

Me+Maka

My dog Maka is a Great and beautiful dog. She is sweet, great with little kids and loves getting attention! One day I decided that i could possibly replica's of horse jumps but make them for my dog. Me and my dad made a sketch of what they would look like and then we got the supplies and made them. We finished them in about one hour and we made them around two months ago. We have been practicing so much after school that she can now jump three whole feet!!!!!!!!! I have been practicing to so now i can jump two feet!! When my gramma came to visit she took a video of Maka jumping 2 feet 9 inches here it is. She is such a great dog!!
See Ya, Merrin
