Honolulu Zoo
Here is a video of giraffes, zebras at the zoo in Honolulu. I took the video with my moms camera. The zoo was fantastic! The elephants are getting a new home which is good because right now they have a small area. When I grow up I want to work with animals. Maybe I will help design better environments for the animals in the zoos!

sunday morning with DAD
Almost every Sunday morning my dad makes crepes for all of us ( and sometimes our neighbors!). We fill the crepes with blueberries, bananas, strawberries, chocolate and peanut butter chips. If you want our recipe send me an email to ASK MERRIN?

YUMMY COOKIES!
Hello again!
Sometimes after school my mom and sister and I make these DELICIOUS COOKIES !
Yummy Granola Cookies
• 1 ½ cup of any type of granola
• 1 cup of spelt (or any type of flour)
• ½ cup of maple syrup1/3 cup of softened butter)
• 1 tsp of vanilla
• optional: 1/3 cup of a type of nut, chocolate chips, apples, pears, cranberries, raisins, coconut or even seeds
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Combine granola and flour in a bowl
3. In another bowl mix together maple syrup, butter and vanilla
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. Stir in the optional treats.
5. The dough maybe a little sticky, but form as best you can on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
6. Bake for 15 minutes, but be sure to check because everyone’s stove is slightly different.
The recipe is so easy and they are really good but they are best when eaten right away!

Cousins
hi
During winter break this year my cousins came. My cousins names are Owen(3) and Max ( 11 months). We met each other in Honolulu. They were sick half the time but the other half we were hanging out at the beach. In Honolulu we watched the Honolulu Marathon. We also did alot of Christmas shopping. Me and my dad went to look at boats in the the boat harbors. Some boats were fishing boats, some were sailboats but it was nice looking at the boats.
Our cousins left a couple days ago. I miss them.

Going to school
Hi. Tomorrow I am going back to school ( today is the last day of winter break ). I am happy that i get to see all of my friends from school and my teacher. I don't want to have to wake up really early every day (except for Saturday and Sunday YES). For Christmas I got an iHome that has an alarm clock in it so i can wake up to my favorite music!!!!!
