Get daily excercise

It's good to get daily exercise. Any type of exercise is exercise, whether it's taking your dog for a walk, walking to school or even horseback riding! During the school year I go to a Dance class on Monday. On Wednesday and Friday I go horseback riding. I want to get into the habit of taking my dog out for a walk/run. I made up a game that involves my dog Maka. We(my sister and I) call the game "Maka's football, tag game" It is really fun to me and my sister. Here's a video we made demonstrating the game.

Game Place

As you know I love to play games!! Some of my favorite board games are Clue, Apples to Apples, and Sorry-the game of sweet revenge. My Dad taught me how to play Chess and Checkers. Every once in a while we'll pull out my Chess board and play. He will usually beat me but I learn his strategies and use those against my sister(then I win).I am considering doing some games on my blog to keep you entertained. How it will work is that I will put a homemade game or something on and you could either email me at merrin@drheathernd.com or leave a comment. The next time I write a blog I will give the Answer and if someone got it right then I will tell it on my Blog. How does that sound??

See ya later,

My 11th Birthday

On July 6th I had my 11th birthday. On my birthday we finished our stay at the Hapuna with our friends. I had one of those nice, lazy Birthdays. We went to the pool and then Checked out of the hotel and then went back down to the pool to have lunch.

For my birthday I got my own camera, A photography magazine, A $50.00 borders card and $20.00 from my Aunt, Uncle and baby cousin who live in Pennsylvania. I got two cards(so far).

On one of the cards I got a picture of Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, a picture painted by Georges Seurat. Here is the picture. He painted this picture by using only the tip of his paint brush! The original copy is in Chicago at the Art Museum. the original copy is soooo big it takes up an entire wall!!!!! If you look really closely you can see the dots but from a distance you eyes blend the dots together to frame the image. Isn't that cool!!
